Avinash
Avinash is a third year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He is on the pre-med track and has worked in a nursing facility as a CNA. He has tutored SAT math for underprivileged children in the Hamtramck area. His tutoring is primarily based on establishing a strong foundation with the material and then applying the concepts with practice problems that test the same concept with slight variations. Avinash strives to build an environment that is welcoming to students to build strong relationships and create an open space that allows them to ask any questions. Activities he enjoys include spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and volunteering at the children’s hospital at the University of Michigan. Avinash scored a 800 (99th percentile) on the SAT math section. He teaches SAT intensive and comprehensive courses at Synchrony Learning.
