Ammar
Ammar is a junior at the University of Michigan studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He is pursuing a career in medicine and currently works as a research assistant in the Bardwell Lab studying the structural biophysics of the human SERF2 protein. He has been involved in a teaching capacity both as a STEM instructor as well as an SAT tutor. His tutoring methodology is first based on a strong foundational understanding of the relevant concepts and secondly a subsequent application of those concepts through a structured practice framework. Moreover, he strives to build personal connections with each and every one of his students in order to maximize their effort and potential. Outside of tutoring, he enjoys spending time with family, working out, and volunteering at the children’s hospital. Ammar scored a 790 (99th percentile) on the SAT math section. He teaches SAT intensive and comprehensive courses at Synchrony Learning.
